Wood will spend the rest of the season on loan at the City Ground, with the deal having a conditional obligation to become permanent until the summer of 2024.

West Ham United coach David Moyes admits he wanted to keep Harrison Ashby before his transfer to Newcastle United. The right-back sealed a deadline day move to St James’ Park.
