Jos Buttler has withdrawn from the SA20 2025 league as he prefers international duties over the league. The SA20 league will be played between January 9 and February 8, 2025. Buttler has been backed as England’s White ball captain after Matthew Mott stepped down as England’s white-ball head coach.
Meanwhile, England is set to tour India to play a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series between January 22 and February 12. Buttler is expected to continue as the white-ball captain in the 2025 champions trophy. “This is a message to the Paarl Royals fans,” Buttler said on Royals’ X account.
