West Ham has agreed to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug for a fee worth 27 million euros. The Hammer’s proposal is worth around 21 million plus add-ons, but there’s still a valuation gap with the Germand holding out for at least 25 million euros.
The 31-year-old striker is keen to join the Hammers and is ready to sign a three-year deal with the option of an additional 12 months. He could also earn the same figure as his current wage at Dortmund.
Dortmund will likely to go signing for Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko is still free to leave the club. But the arrival of Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart seemingly soured his relationship with those in charge, and he is not set for a new challenge in the English Premier League.
According to reports West Ham is not willing to improve their offer for the German international striker and could pull out of the deal if Dortmund expects more for the player. West Ham are keen to sign a striker this summer as part of Julen Lopetegui’s plans to bolster his attacking options before the start of the 2024-25 season.
West Ham are interested in Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and could resume their interest in the Colombian striker if they fail to close the deal for Fullkrug. He has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund last season.
Fullkrug has plenty of European experience and would be an exciting addition to us, and should prioritize landing his signature ahead of Duran. Villa’s demand of 40 million euros for Duran shows the player’s potential.
The Colombian is also keen to join Lopetegui’s so we should have no problems wrapping up the deal. Julen Lopetegui has already signed Wolves captain Max Kilman for 40 million euros Wes Foderingham from Sheffield United and Lusi Guilherme for 25.5 million Euros from Palmeiras.
Hammers are interested in signing Aaron Wan Bissaka from Manchester United and Crysencio from Leeds United.
